Tells the story of Jeannie who was married for 16 years to a man who physically and mentally abused her. Now separated from her husband, Jeannie tells her story in two voices: a dispassionate one when she addresses the camera, and an emotional one when she discusses her situation with a social worker. Her husband is also interviewed.
