The Bamboo brush (K) | Sturla Gunnarsson | 1982 | ACMI collection

This is a story about a young Chinese-American boy, living in America, and the conflicts that he encounters as a result of the two very different cultures that he is part of. Through his troubles, the boy becomes very close to his Chinese grandfather and after the grandfather’s death, he realises that he has resolved his conflicts.
