The story of Danny, a young boy living in an Australian country town, who discovers a emu’s egg and sets about ensuring that it hatches. Danny is thwarted by the school mischief-maker but manages to incubate the egg. Provides a delightful look at the diverse skills required of the country teacher and the lifestyle of country schoolchildren. Written by David Haythornthwaite from a story by Jim Badger. Cast includes Ken Talbot as Danny. Suitable for primary school level.
