Motivation: the classic concepts (TEFC)

Presents five classic work motivation theories: McGregor’s Theory X and Theory Y, Maslow’s need hierarchy, Hertzberg’s “hygiene’s” and “motivators”, McClellands motivational profiles and Skinner’s behaviour reinforcement. Illustrates that humans are motivated by a complex set of factors including money, the need for achievement and the desire for meaningful work.
