Episode of Series “Fauna”.
A program in which the two main species of wombat - the Common Wombat and the Hairy-Nosed Wombat, are compared. Also included is a reconstruction of the fascinating research done by a 15 year old schoolboy, in the 1960’s, who was the first person to venture into the long tunnels that the wombats dig as homes.
