One of the grandest links in China’s network of waterways is the Yangtze River. The river was closed to foreigners in 1949. In this riverboat journey we travel through the Yangtze Gorges on the way from Chungking to Wuhan and the story of the boat crew and passengers unfolds. Narrated by John Bell. Contains Chinese language with English subtitles. Suitable for middle and upper secondary levels.
