Episode of Series “Dorothy Butler’s Video Books”.
A video designed to encourage children to read and enjoy books. Ten different stories, many from well known books, are told by Dorothy Butler and Don Kjestrup as they take a group of children for a sail in a yacht. The stories have been selected for children aged eight to eleven years old. The stories are: “A bag of wind”, The magic apple”, Scruffy, scruffy dog”, “Mrs. Vineagar” “Shuttle burn”, “Mrs. McGinty and the bizarre plant”, “Gumdrop and the farmer’s friend”, “Pelican”, “Rapunzel” and “The lighthouse keeper’s lunch”
