Episode of Series “Dorothy Butler’s Video Books”.
Dorothy Butler introduces this video designed to encourage children to read and enjoy books. Ten different stories, many from well known books, are told by professional storytellers and have been selected for children aged eight to eleven years old. The stories are: “The Musicians of Bremen”, “The Writing on the wall”, “Did you ever?”, “Chanticleer”, “Mr. and Mrs. Hay the horse”, “Mabel’s story”, “The Witch and the owl”, “Funnybones” and “Jorinda and Joringel”.
