A rousing, live-action adventure, based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic story. Young Jim Hawkins possesses a map of Treasure Island, and sets sail with a ship full of gold seekers. However, Long John Silver, a greedy crewman, quickly masterminds a mutiny, then gathers a ragged band of pirates to resume the treasure hunt…with young Hawkins as their unwilling and terrified hostage. Stars Robert Newton and Bobby Driscoll.
