Episode of Series “BBC Television Shakespeare Series”.
Featuring Ron Cook as Richard III, Michael Byrne as Buckingham, Annette Crosbie as the Duchess of York. A succession of plots and murders sees Richard of Gloucester take over the throne of England from his brother Edward IV. But Richard has made many enemies along the way and Buckingham and Richmond raise armies against him. Richmond is the victor and, as Henry VII, plans to bring peace by linking the houses of Lancaster and York.
