Seeing involves both the eyes and the brain. The development of seeing and the beginning of visual awareness are discussed. An eye specialist explains how the eye works and stresses the importance of the early detection of eye problems. Eye tests are demonstrated and the problems associated with glasses discussed. We examine common childhood ailments and injuries, parents talk about their visually impaired children and some advice is offered by an early childhood specialist.
