A seven part program designed to give an overview of our electoral system and its development. Commencing with an outline of the principles of democracy, the programs proceed to trace the history of Government in Australia, discuss the different levels of Government and examine the role of political parties, the voting system, the conduct of elections and the use of the referendum in changing the Constitution.

Content notification
