Examines the story of how one woman has come to terms with her life as a survivor of incest. Sexually abused by her father from infancy to early adolescence, Shirley Turrotte is now in her thirties and has succeeded in building a rich and full life. Shirley discusses with her family, and describes her experiences as a victim of incest, the effects the abuse had on her and her siblings and the struggle in adulthood to come to terms with her past.
