Based on the Rolf Boldrewood novel, this film follows the two Marsden brothers and their adventures with the gentlemanly bushranger, Captain Starlight; their romance with local girls, their life on the goldfields and their eventual capture by the police after Starlight is shot. The brothers serve a long prison term, and emerge to start a new life with their patiently waiting sweethearts. Cast includes Kenneth Brampton, Roy Redgrave, S.A. Fitzgerald, William Pearson, Stuart McCrae, Witton Power, Jackie Anderson, H.D. Wise, Tian Hogue, Nan Taylor, Phyllis Ruthcen, Hilda Dorrington, Vera Archer, Austral Nichol, Betty Crock.
