When Tom is unfairly blamed for stealing, he escapes by leaping into the water of Dead Man’s Pool. There he and his dog Toby become cartoons in an animated world of fantasy, adventure and songs, befriending the Water Babies and helping to save them from the dreaded Shark and Electric Eel.
