What makes a star? Clips from a host of films look at the legendary stars - Sarah Bernhardt, Shirley Temple, Joan Crawford, Errol Flynn and Bette Davis. This program is episode seven in the ten part documentary, “Filmstruck”, which considers the impact of cinema on the social and personal life of the viewing audience.
