Having fled Thornfield and Rochester, Jane is taken in and cared for by the handsome young clergyman St John Rivers and his sisters, Diana and Mary. Finally Jane is confronted with her most testing challenge - to accept St John Rivers’ offer to join him as his wife and fellow missionary or to return to Thornfield Hall and seek future happiness with Mr Rochester.
