In this program Captain Mark Phillips enables you, the prospective purchaser to determine your requirements in a saddle horse and shows you how to look for a suitable animal. He explains in clear terms the individual attributes of a horse that are important to you to consider and pays particular attention to the following areas: (1) Conformation, (2) Soundness, (3) Temperament, (4) Performance under saddle, (5) Dangers and pitfalls and how to avoid them, (6) Veterinary report and how to evaluate it.
