The legend of King Arthur, a tale of love, sorrow, courage and endeavour set in the cruel and barbaric Dark Ages, where magic still weaves its mystic influence over the affairs of men and kings. Merlin the mysterious old wizard has a vision of a new age of justice and chivalry and chooses young Arthur, son of Uther, to carry the torch of enlightenment.
