The Opening of Parliament House

With archival footage showing the opening of the old Parliament House and all the splendour of the historic opening of Australia’s new Parliament House, this video is a souvenir of a great occasion and a permanent record of a unique event. It includes the Governor General’s welcome to Her Majesty the Queen, the Honour Guard, a tour of the magnificent new building with its great architectural and engineering achievements and the opening ceremony itself.
