Unconventional comedy in which three writers reunite and share their problems, eccentricities and idiosyncrasies during a reunion. The youngest has just been released from prison after shooting her husband because he beat up her black lover. During their time together assorted family secrets are revealed. Based on play of the same name by Beth Henley, which won a Pulitzer Prize. Stars Diane Keaton, Jessica Lange and Sissy Spacek.
