A psychopathic killer is haunting the Nullarbor Highway in search of female hitch-hikers whom he picks up, rapes, kills and dismembers. An eccentric, long-haul truck driver determines to track down the murderer and is helped by a young hitch-hiker he picks up. Stars Stacy Keach and Jamie Lee Curtis.
