Based on the novel of the same name by Elizabeth O’Connor. Set in Northern Queensland in the 1920’s, it is the story of a proud Irish Australian teamster and his family as they face the competition from motorised transport. This is the story of a family experiencing events which they cannot control in the face of progress and change. Stars Michael Craig, Simon Burke, Robin Nevin and Bryan Brown.
