Babes In Arms is a delightful “vehicle” for the talents of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney in their youthful prime. The source was the Broadway musical by Richard Rogers and Lorenz Hart. The title song and “Where or When?” are featured from the original score with other numbers used in the background score. The story deals with the offspring of out-of-work vaudevillians whose livelihood was shattered with the coming of talking pictures. The young ones decide to put on a show.
