This is the epic story of a family that moves West, and the many dangers encountered on the way. The story follows the Prescott family in their quest for land, gold, and glory - in their journey from the Erie Canal in the East to the magic of California in the West. Stars John Wayne, Debbie Reynolds, Carroll Baker and Lee J. Cobb.
