The story of a motley group of swindlers travelling on an Africa-bound tramp steamer. The plot unfolds to reveal a web of double crossing and deception as each attempts to get their hands on a fortune in uranium deposits. Starring Gina Lollobrigida and Humphrey Bogart. Written by Truman Capote and John Huston from a novel by James Helvick.
