A tense thriller based on the true story of an honest man mistaken for an armed robber. When Christopher Balestrero (Henry Fonda) decides to borrow money on his wife’s insurance policy to pay urgent debts, a tragic chain of events is set off because the staff of the insurance company believe him to be a man who previously held up their office.
