Featuring Jon Finch as King Henry IV, David Gwillim as Prince Hal, Anthony Quayle as Falstaff. Shakespeare’s play is the dark portrait of a king who comes to the throne with blood on his hands. Having killed Richard III, he is guilt ridden by the knowledge of his foul deed. A usurper himself he is now being plotted against by those who helped him to power.
