An intelligent look at prostitution, focusing on sex workers, Vicky and Gillian, two of the thousands of women working in the sex industry in Victoria. They work in one of Melbourne’s legal brothels and give a detailed explanation of the practicality of their work, of which sex is only one component. Vicky and Gillian earn more than women in low skill jobs, but experience none of the benefits of other wage earners. Also covers the work of the Prostitutes’ Collective of Victoria.
