Bobby McLeod, Marlene Cummins and Reg King recount their experiences of growing up as First Nations people in a white society that didn’t recognise their history or respect their rights. As recovering alcoholics, they discuss the factors that enabled them to overcome their alcoholism, when, as stigmatised outcasts in their own land, there was no place to turn to.
