A program of interviews and discussions led by Peter Couchman. The texts “Mister Johnson” (Joyce Carey), “The Inheritors” (William Golding), “A Place Apart” (Dervla Murphy) and “The Immigrants” (Wendy Lowenstein and Morag Loh) are considered in examining the causes of cultural conflict, how people are affected by it, how conflict can both enrich and impoverish individuals and communities and how conflict is resolved. Also appearing are Dr. M. McLaughlin and Charles D’Aprano.
