In this first program Philip Zimbardo introduces us to the fascinating science of psychology, a science at the crossroads of a wide variety of subjects such as philosophy, anthropology, biochemistry and artificial intelligence. He outlines what psychologists do and some of the different approaches taken to the study of the brain, mind and behaviour, including a brief history of psychology.
