Chad Gates (Elvis Presley) returns to Hawaii after leaving the army. On his return he rebels against his rich and domineering mother (Angela Lansbury) and leaves the family pineapple business for a job as a tourist guide. Chad’s tours lead him straight into a tropical squall of trouble with his mother, the law and his girlfriend. Stars: Elvis Presley, Joan Blackman and Angela Lansbury.
