Dugong! Dugong!

Commencing with the telling of a legend about the dugong, the film then shows the hunting, killing and cooking of the dugong by the First Nations people living on Mornington Island. Hunting is now done by motor boat as opposed to the traditional method using nets, which is re-enacted.
