A wildly diverse, star-studded trilogy about life in New York. “Life lessons”, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Nick Nolte and Rosanna Arquette is a passionate tale of a world-famous painter torn between his passion for his art and his infatuation with his unresponsive assistant. “Life without Zoe”, directed by Coppola, stars Talia Shire and Giancarlo Giannini in a whimsical fantasy about childlike parents and a very grown-up daughter. Original music by Carmine Coppola. “Oedipus wrecks” has Woody Allen directing and starring in a comedy about a neurotic lawyer who cannot escape the woman who literally looms largest in his life - his mother. Also stars Mia Farrow, Mae Questal and Julie Kavner.
