A geographical overview is given and aspects of Italian life are looked at, such as the importance of religion and cultural differences between north and south. Visits Milan, Naples, Rome and the Vatican. Historical reviews of places are given, including Pompeii. Looks at wine, olive, fruit and pasta production and the contributions that Italy makes to design, furniture, clothes and the car industry.
