Winner of 11 Academy Awards. A first-rate biblical epic packed with action. The chariot race is an all-time achievement in film editing and one of the greatest action scenes in motion pictures. Stars Charlton Heston as Ben Hur, the Jewish prince who leads his people against the Romans. Based on the novel by Lew Wallace.
