Episode of Series “Quantum”.
This segment from ABC TV’s Quantum deals with tropical rainforests and the issue of sustainable logging. A model that was developed in Queensland to determine whether logging in tropical rainforest is sustainable is examined. A project in which tropical rainforest hardwoods are being grown outside the rainforest environment with remarkable results is also examined.
