Cedric is a spoilt child brought up in Brooklyn in the 1880’s who inherits an English title and finds his life transformed. In his stately family home in England, Cedric wins over his stern grandfather (C. Aubrey Smith). Freddie Bartholomew stars in the title role and is well supported by Dolores Costello as his mother and Mickey Rooney as the bootblack.
