Asthma is the most common human ailment except for cold and flu. This excellent and informative video explains the physical and psychological effects of the condition, as well as investigating the range of treatments available for sufferers of asthma. Interviews with health professionals and people living with asthma stress the seriousness of the condition but the video makes clear that with proper treatment, medication and exercise the asthma sufferer can achieve a happy and active life. Produced by medical professionals, this video dispels myths about the disease and treats the asthma sufferer with intelligence and dignity.
