Episode of Series “The Australian Opera”.
Recorded live at the Sydney Opera House on January 23, 1983 Joan Sutherland and Luciano Pavarotti perform many favourite arias, together and as soloists. Richard Bonynge conducts the Elizabethan Sydney Orchestra. The operas of Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Cilea, Massenet, Thomas, Leoncavallo and Donizetti are all represented.
