This sensitive character study, set in an English seaside hotel, looks at human frailties as seen through the eyes of a small group of residents, many tortured by emotional turmoil and unhappy pasts. Stars Rita Hayworth, Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster including Academy Award performances by David Niven and Wendy Hiller for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress. Based on the play by Terence Rattigan.
