Petruchio, a poor gentleman from Verona, finds a rich but shrewish wife, Kate in Padua. Their stormy relationship takes a different turn when Petruchio wagers that Kate is the most obedient of wives. Stars Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Cyril Cusack, Michael Hordern and Michael York.
