Media Matters gives you the who, when, where and how of getting the media interested in your story and then tells you how to follow through. It also tells you how the media works. The kit comprises a video and comprehensive written guide covering ideas on how to package a story and make it interesting to the media and the audience. It is designed for individuals and voluntary groups involved in promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles in the community and can be used to publicise activities and attract membership. The video contains case studies of groups that have succeeded in getting coverage and interviews with working journalists.
