Using archival footage and an informative commentary enthusiasts will be treated to a nostalgic look at the great days of railway. This volume captures steam and diesel engines dating as far back as the 1930’s including early green DMU’s, commuter trains at Liverpool Station in 1932, wartime NE A4’s and Class 78 Electrics, the Belfast 5‘3” gauge to Larne, 1950’s steam shed scenes, DEMU’s and in the 60’s KESR is taken over by the preservationists, trains at Euston, Paddington and Clapham, the last Brighton Belle, King George visits Paddington and finally a Bullied locomotive re-born in preservation.
