The efforts of a group of friends to dine together are continually frustrated in this often hilarious surrealistic fable. As if in a dream, things go awry for all the characters in this, Luis Bunuel’s deliciously comical and brilliantly performed masterpiece. Co-written by Bunuel and Jean-Claude Carriere. English subtitles.
