Based on the popular novel “Mullaway” by Bron Nicholls, “Mull” is the story of a 16 year old girl’s struggle to turn 17, movingly portrayed by Nadine Garner in an AFI Award winning performance. Mull’s brother is a junkie, her father’s a religious fanatic and her mum’s about to die. So Mull does what she has to do and gives up school to keep the family together any way she can. Other notable performances are from Bill Hunter, Sue Jones and Mary Coustas.
