Episode number 3 of Series “Pioneers of photography”.
Hippolyte Boyard in Paris, Hill and Adamson in Edinburgh, raised photography to the level of art. Extracts of Boyard’s 1840’s record of Paris are shown along with the pictures of Edinburgh created by these pioneer photographers.
