Amanda Gore is renowned for her work in occuaptional health. It is true that many workers will suffer from back-related health problems. The purpose of this program is to develop better back health and preventative strategies to minimise the risk of back injury. The videocassette and booklet are divided into five modules: 1. How back pain develops. 2. Sitting. 3. Lifting. 4. Preventing back injury. 5. Exercises. The three posters in the package are: 1. Guidelines for lifting. 2. Your body’s warning signs. 3. Back exercises. By following the simple and effective exercises, the risk of back injury can be reduced.
