The Australian Government is promoting informed debate about the opportunities and challenges arising from the convergence of information technology, broadcasting and telecommunications. ‘Introducing multimedia’ provides background information to assist consideration of the industrial, social, and cultural issues arising from technical convergence. The programme consists of three parts: an executive summary, general information about the emerging multimedia industry and details of the use of this technology within a variety of industries in various markets. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: This program was designed to run on Macintosh and Windows operating systems. For Windows, at least 5MB of memory is needed to run this program. Mac uses 2.4 MB on disk. Suggested size: 1050K, minimum size: 800K, preferred size: 4696K.
